NetLog Description

NetLog is a small, yet powerful network surveillance application that logs all Internet connections to files and allows users to create queries. It is quite intuitive and does not require hands-on experience with network utilities. The setup procedure does not take a long time to finish, and NetLog is immediately launched afterward. It creates an icon in the system tray area and shows details of the current connection when it comes to the connection name, uptime, sent and received packets, phone number (if any), device name and type, speed, and device type. Every time a connection is closed, NetLog automatically creates a log file with this data (to NTL format), so that you can select them at a later time and create queries with various filters, including period selection. The program uses very low CPU and RAM, so its impact on PC performance is minimal. As for the interface, the main app window is small and clear-cut, while the log viewer frame has a neatly structured layout. We have not come across any problems throughout our evaluation.
