My IP Description

My IP is a practical, effective and useful piece of software that retrieves and displays your internal IP address within seconds. When you launch the application for the first time, you are able to easily choose the available network adapter and view the IP address. Because no installation is required before actually using My IP, you can make use of this utility whenever you want. It is almost impossible to get lost in the interface since it shows the IP address in the main window. The ‘Network Adapter’ section allows you to choose the adapter you are interested in from the drop-down list. This way, in case you select the ‘Local Area Connection’ option, the ‘IP Address’ section will change accordingly. After that, you can easily modify the network adapter and view your internal IP address. Since it moves away the idea of using the ‘ipconfig /all’ parameter inside command prompt, My IP comes in handy especially for beginners who need to view their actual IP address. Irrespective of how many network adapters you have installed onto your computer, the application is able to display all of them. Simply choose the adapter you want and view the available IP address. What’s more, you can even copy the current IP address by using the proper button listed at the bottom pane of the application and paste it to whatever document you want. However, My IP cannot be used if you want to get information about your MAC address, connection type, operational status or network speed. All in all, My IP is a simple, yet reliable and useful utility when it comes to displaying your internal IP address and copying it to clipboard.
