Multicam Description

Sometimes, when we want to escape from the worries and troubles of our lives, we spend our days dreaming about distant locations from all over the world, where you can get away from everything and everyone and just relax. Multicam is a small program that was designed to help you view multiple webcams at the same time. Thus, whenever you feel like enjoying a bit of time off, the app provides different locations from all over the world. The interface is quite simple and should be easy to figure out by all users. As mentioned, you can set up to view a single camera, four different ones or nine. This can be done from the gadget’s “Preferences” area. Whenever you want to set up a new webcam, you simply need to choose which one to edit from the interface. A name must be provided, as well as the webcam’s URL address. The update speed must be defined as well with time intervals varying from five seconds to an entire hour. The way the interface looks can be modified as well. For instance, you may choose hues for several areas of the frame, such as the glass tint, the label, text and borders. As all similar tools, the program can be set to always be on top of other frames, thus making it easy to spot. It may also ignore mouse movements and any accident dragging. The widget’s opacity levels can be modified too. The bottom line is that Multicam is a nice program that is fun to have installed. Less experienced users should find the widget easy to handle, thanks to the intuitive layout and its overall simplicity. Reviewed by Gabriela Vatu, last updated on March 23rd, 2013
