The Mp3 Audio Editor software can edit MP3 as well as WMA, WAV, and OGG files. The functions are available through an easy to use interface. The recordings are presented in a waveform format and that makes editing easy. the controls are arranged on the top of the interface in a ribbon fashion with logical grouping of related operations. left part of the display area makes accessing files/folders easy as that shows the tree structure of the information as organized on your disk. The waveform display is in color and the selected area appears in different color marking exactly the area being operated on. The editor lets you visually Cut, Copy, Delete Selection, Delete Silence, Paste, Paste From File, Mix, Mix From File and such other functionality to get the MP3 in the right shape that you want it to be in. Several effects can be added to the sound recorded that include Amplify, Compressor, Delay, Equalize, Fade In and Fade Out, Flanger, Invert, Normalize, Phaser, Reverb, Reverse, Silence, Shrink, Stretch, Vibrato, etc. When recording you could record into WAV, MP3, WMA, OGG, etc. formats besides the default MP3. You can record these through the microphone or line in or any other sound played by the sound card of your machine. Built-in burner rounds off the facilities available.
