Here is the official description for MicroScala: µScala (MicroScala) is a simple functional programming language whose syntax resembles that of Scala. The µScala distribution includes a parser and interpreter implemented in Scala. The parser is written entirely using Scala's parser combinators in less than 100 lines of code, even though the µScala language supports fairly complex expressions. The parser builds an Abstract syntax tree which the interpreter evaluates after performing (minor) simplifications on it.
