MassRename is an open source file renaming application with an extensive list of renaming options and tools. One of the main assets of this tool is the fact that whatever changes you perform on your files, they will not become permanent until you hit the “Apply” button. The program’s simple interface is split into two main panels - one showing the original filenames, and another one showing the results of the actions taken.
