MapEditor for PowerNavigation2 Description

MapEditor is a program that lets you create maps in the .pnmap format (Power Navigation Map), which can be used for navigation in PowerNavigation 2.00 on your device. A map consists of several layers, each layer has different level of detailed elaboration of shown information. One layer is enough to create a map. Layer - is a picture in raster format. You can use scanned maps in following formats as source files : *.jpeg, *.jpg, *.bmp, *.ico, *.wmf (recommended format - *.bmp). Each layer should be obligatory snapped to geographical coordinates (WGS-84). It's recommended to use 2-5 points measured with high level of precision in order to snap a map. To define snap points on a layer you should use a tool "Make Snap". You should snap a layer after defining snap points: Layers / Snap layer. Note: After that you can also calibrate a map on your device, but it's recommended to snap a map to some well-known coordinates.
