Users can be notorious for ignoring company policy and convincing them to follow guidelines to reduce the need for large attachments can be challenging. MailPackIT MO is a Add-In for Microsoft Outlook that optimises file attachments for outgoing emails. It allows users to send large files quickly and efficiently by optimising them upon sending. It has the ability to optimise the following file formats: * Microsoft PowerPoint presentations (.ppt) * Microsoft Word documents (.doc) * Various image file formats (jpg, png, bmp, gif, tif The optimised file will look and behave in exactly the same way as the original and the recipient of the email will need no additional software to view the optimised attachments. MailPackIT MO also allows the option to enable automatic zipping of any attachment for an even further saving in space. Now regardless of the file format, all files are zipped up as standard. However it is important to realise that the major savings in space are achieved when using the custom I-Logik optimisation libraries. It will replace attachments with their optimised version's (if possible). All attachments are then grouped and compressed into a single .zip file which is then attached to the outgoing email. * It uses bespoke I-Logik optimisation libraries to reduce specific files to a fraction of their original size.
