MRADIUS Description

MRADIUS is a simple, command line based tool designed to offer users an accurate technique for measuring the radius of curvature of a part. A .jpg file illustrates the setup and the program performs the requisite mathematics. If you have a part with a radiused edge and you need to find the radius, there are many ways to do it. This is one of the more accurate ways to do it. You will need a surface plate, gage blocks and two rollers with well-known diameters. The included .jpg file shows the setup and associated mathematics. This simplistic program performs the calculation, given the measured quantities.
