MFworks Description

The grid-based family of Keigan products are used by researchers, analysts, engineers, planners and other professionals interested in the relationships between geographical elements and events. MFworks, and itâ??s sister products, Keigan Grid and GeoMedia Grid, are specialist tools for the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) market. MFworks provides the essential grid analysis tools which make up the Map Algebra processing collection. MFworks combines the most highly demanded elements of grid analysis into a simple and efficient tool. It provides a powerful suite of analytical and modeling capabilities with a user-friendly interface. MFworks is a perfect complement for vector based GIS tools such as ArcView, ArcGIS, MapINFO, or GeoMedia. It is ideal for new and experienced GIS users who are interested in creating their own solutions to spatial analysis problems. What's new in this version: Included in this new version are more than a dozen tools for improved grid surface interpolation, hydrological modeling routines, expanded statistical tools and augmented versions of previous functions. Also new are full support systems for Windows XP and the inclusion of a 3D viewer for MFworks (.MFM) and Digital Elevation Maps (DEMs).
