ME Converter is a small tool that will help you convert from Metric system to English system, or vice versa. Write your numbers in the edit boxes and press the correct button. The result will be presented in the edit boxes opposite to what you are converting from. You can then copy the result to the clipboard. You can also shift variables to other boxes to get e.g. miles from inch, or vice versa; going from other values to inch will give you decimal inch. Drag-and-drop of edit box values is also supported. You can drag e.g. the contents of inch to centimeters directly to get the value for inch in centimeters. A quick help window is also available by double-clicking the main application window to aid you in using the keyboard shortcuts. As with all simple computer programs, there is also rounding errors to take into consideration. You might not get the results you expected if you re-convert from/to Metric/English using this application. For those interested in the technique behind the scenes: The conversion is made with a single instance of a special Metric/English conversion object I created for the purpose of practicing writing objects.
