Lunabar Description

Lunabar is a free program that lets you see the current phase of the moon, the exact time of the moonrise, moon southing, moonset, the zodiacal constellation and sign. The interface of the program is quite modern, with stylish and colorful buttons on top of the window and a nice panoramic view of a city at night in the background. Furthermore, the UI is really easy to use, even by people that have no previous experience with computers. The program offers a lot of graphical features, in the sense that the fonts used can be changed in size, style and color with ease, and also you can replace the background picture with Bitmap or JPG files that you have stored on your hard drive. Taskbar icons and almanac display styles can also be subject to changes. Lunabar calculates the Vernal Equinox, Summer Solstice, Autumnal Equinox and the Winter Solstice. The times of the sunrise and sunset are presented for each and every day, dawn and dusk. Moreover, the length of day and twilight is calculated so that you know exactly what to expect when stepping outside the house. All the phases of the moon for the year can be brought up, the hour and day when the moon is going to shift from New Moon to First Quarter, for example. If you like reading about the Zodiac, then you should know that this program can show you details regarding all the signs and their relation with the current position of the moon. In addition to that, in the system tray, next to the phase of Earth’s satellite, you can see its current sign. All in all, Lunabar is a handy program to have on your computer, if you have a special interest for the moon and the things it may influence.
