Logitech MouseWare Advanced Utility Description
Logitech MouseWare Advanced Utility is a helper tool designed to work with the MouseWare application in order to tweak the parameters of certain Logitech pointing devices. It is a compact tool that can prove to be useful when you are using older Logitech devices. Most users take the mouse usage for granted and never try to change the function of a certain button. However, the situation is different when dealing with pointing devices that have multiple buttons that can enhance the gaming experience of the user. Some Logitech mice owners have the possibility to assign the mouse buttons to certain actions by using the MouseWare application. This Advanced Utility is a tweaker which enhances the MouseWare usage by adjusting some of its settings. You can use the program in order to change the mouse behavior in certain games or CAD applications. If your activity can benefit from customizing all the mouse buttons, this tool can help you change the MouseWare settings. Unlike other tweaking applications, the MouseWare Advanced Utility does not run in the background which minimizes the required resources. It only changes the registry entries and restarts MouseWare in order to apply the new parameters. As it is based on the MouseWare application, this tool can only be used with the supported legacy Logitech devices. Unfortunately, it is not actively developed so newer devices are not supported.
