Loginom Academic Description

Loginom Studio Academic is an application created for helping in analyzing end decisions. Technologies realized in Loginom allow examination of all stages of the analytical system creation on the basis of one architecture: from the creation of a data warehouse, to automatic selection of models and visualization of the received results. Loginom Studio Academic provides the toolkits necessary to solve various analytical problems: corporate reporting, forecasting, segmentation, search of laws, i.e. we enumerate the problems where such methods of the analysis as OLAP, Knowledge Discovery in Databases and Data Mining are used. Loginom Studio Academic is an ideal platform for creating the expert decision-making support system. Loginom consists of 3 parts – the many-dimensional data warehouse, Loginom Warehouse, the analytical application, Loginom Studio, and the end-user workplace, Loginom Viewer. Loginom Warehouse is a many-dimensional warehouse of data, accumulating the information necessary to analyze knowledge domain. Use of one warehouse guarantees data consistency, centralized storage, and provides all necessary support for automatic processing of data analysis. Loginom Warehouse is optimized to accomplish analytical tasks, and it favorably affects the speed of data access. Loginom Studio is a program for realizing data import, processing, visualization and export functions. Loginom Studio can function without data warehouse by obtaining information from other sources, but their joint use is most optimal. In Loginom Studio, many mechanisms are included. They allow the user to receive information from any data source, to carry out the cycle of processing (cleansing, data transformation, modeling), to display received results in the most suitable way (OLAP, diagram, trees …) and to export results. Loginom Viewer is a workplace of the end user. It allows the user to separate the process of scenario creation from the use of available models. All the complex operations of preparing processing scenarios are carried out by analysts-experts with the help of Loginom Studio, and Loginom Viewer gives the user a chance to easily work with finished results, to hide the complexity of model creation and to avoid making high demands of the employees' qualification. The architecture realized in Loginom allows the user to achieve maximal flexibility when creating the finished decision. Owing to this architecture, it is possible to collect all the necessary tools of analysis into one analytical application, and to realize automatic execution of the prepared scenario. The technological platform includes the means of allowing a reduction indevelopment time as much as possible, to quickly create and to buy new application decisions and to quickly adapt them according to changing requirements of enterprises. Resources of the platform provide not only high speed for initial development of a product, but also its fast adaptation in the future. Creation of the finished decision does not take much time. It is enough to obtain data, to define the processing scenario and to set a place to export the received results. Presence of a great number of processing mechanisms and visualization methods allows the user to move step by step from the simplest methods of analysis to more powerful methods.
