Customizing your screen starts with changing the wallpaper and screensaver. Liquid Desktop is a nice tool that can bring something new to the screen of your computer. The program has a simple interface that should be quite easy to handle, thanks to the intuitive layout and the task’s overall simplicity. As mentioned, Liquid Desktop installs as a screensaver and can be set as default from the regular Windows interface. Basically, the program displays an image that liquefies slowly by running waves through it. Thanks to the color intensity tweaking that comes with each ripple, the app looks three dimensional. The utility comes with several customizing settings. For instance, you may fiddle with the complexity of the image, number of maximum drips, wave height and speed scaling. The texture can be picked from a drop-down menu. The screensaver may be accompanied by a song or playlist. Furthermore, you may fiddle with some rendering options, namely you may add the date and time, as well as the frame rate count on the screen. The screensaver’s resolution can be set to one of the available presets. Alternatively, the default screen resolution can be applied automatically.
