Laptop LoJack Description

The Laptop LoJack illustrates how to use the Windows 7 Location API and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) to create an application for presenting the geographic location of the host computer in a novel and visually appealing way. The sample enables this by way of a custom Windows 7 Sensor driver that maps the host IP address to latitude and longitude values (this is known as “IP geocoding”). The Laptop LoJack project uses the Windows 7 Location Platform and IP geocoding to report the location of your laptop - even without a GPS!
