The program’s GUI is clean and well-organized, with a one-window interface that takes care of everything. There are only a few settings to play with, so you need to choose the action to be performed and define the time. You can enable, disable or reset the network connection either in a specific day of the week or daily. While everything’s easy as pie, Lan Control Lite lacks more advanced settings, which isn’t quite good news for those looking for more control over their network connections. For instance, Lan Control Lite doesn’t let you select the network adapter you wish to control, so in case multiple networks exist on the system, it only schedules a task for the first one. Plus, it sometimes freezes on Windows 7 workstations all of a sudden, while administrator privileges are of course needed to launch it. All things considered, Lan Control Lite is just a basic tool that does nothing more than to enable, disable or reset your network connection.
