KSound Description

KSound is an easy-to-use small application that allows you to assign sounds to different keys on the keyboard. Sounds short in duration are the best to use, but you can use longer sounds if you want to. Before you run KSound.exe you will need to run Reg.exe to register the application with Windows. Once this is done close the reg.exe program and open the Windows Control Panel. Click on the Sounds applet and look for the KSound entry. You will then see the keys that you can assign sounds to. Configure the sounds as you would for any other application. After you have configured the sounds, run KSound.exe and check the Active box. The sounds should then be enabled. To test the sounds use Windows Notepad or another similar program. If you select the minimize button in the main window KSound will minimize to the system tray. Double clicking the system tray icon will display the main window and double clicking again will minimize. Right clicking on the system tray icon will activate or deactivate KSound. That's it.
