Born on July 24, 1970 in New York City, Jennifer Lopez began her acting career in 1993 on In Living Color, Lopez followed this with spots on South Central, Second Chances, Nurses on the Line: The Crash of Flight 7. In 1999 Lopez released her first album On the 6, a huge success gaining platinum status; it contained the hits "If You Had My Love" and "Waiting For Tonight." Lopez went on to release the album J.Lo in 2001 and in 2005 Rebirth, Como Ama una Mujer and Brave in 2007. Lopez continued her acting career with The Wedding Planner, Jersey Girl, An Unfinished Life, Monster-in-Law and Shall We Dance. Furthermore, the singer has also founded two companies -- JLO by Jennifer Lopez and Sweetface, and she has released three perfumes, Still, Glow and Live.
