Codec based on the Algebraic Code Exited Linear Prediction (ACELP), has embedded Voice Activity Detector (VAD) and frame loss recovery mechanism. Main advantages: cross platform, compatibility with C++ version of codec, good sound quality, low complexity, easy to use, royalty-free.
