Jarf Description

Jarf stands for Just Another Rsync Front-end for Windows. Jarf consists in a GUI front-end for the Rsync client functionality and a Windows service for the Rsync daemon. It is bundled with a minimum Cygwin-port of Rsync (rsync.exe, UTF8-patched cygwin1.dll and cygiconv-2.dll). The primary goal is to provide a very simple and user-friendly client application for backup and restore operations. The backup destination may be a local folder or a remote machine (either a NetBIOS share or a machine running a Rsync server). Using Rsync allows for full cross-platform compatibility and for a clever and fast way of file synchronization.
