Jake's Alarm Clock Description

Jake's Alarm Clock is a simple-to-use program which enables you to schedule multiple alarms on your computer, as well as to assign custom audio tracks to them. The app is packed in a plain and intuitive interface. Items can be imported into the playlist by using either the file browser, folder view or 'drag and drop' method. Also, you can import playlists. So, you can create an alarm by establishing its name, recurrence (e.g. once, daily, week days, weekends) and time (in the 12-hour clock format). Furthermore, you can preview tracks in a built-in audio player, navigate back and forth within the tracks, adjust the volume, as well as enable shuffle or repeat mode. In addition, you can edit the playlist and alarm list, make Jake's Alarm Clock stay on top of other windows, as well as use complex alarms (set the starting and ending volume, along with the length to reach the ending volume). Some customization settings are available for the main application window when it comes to the text color and time format. The lightweight tool runs on a low-to-moderate amount of CPU and system memory, is pretty responsive to commands and supports some keyboard shortcuts. We have not come across any issues throughout our evaluation; Jake's Alarm Clock did not freeze, crash or pop up errors. Some improvements are welcomed in the visual department.
