JBlitz Professional Description

JBlitz Professional enables you to perform task oriented testing of web services, websites and web enabled applications. JBlitz Pro can package up arbitrary test data (e.g. SOAP requests or standard web resource requests) for transmission. JBlitz Pro utilises powerful dynamic substitutions to vary each request sent to the server. Supports ASP and JSP technologies to maintain server side state between sequences of requests. Effectively simulates visits by hundreds of simultaneous users whilst providing a simple, quick and easy to use interface to enable you to test and debug your server code. JBlitz is an easy to use, comprehensive testing solution for your websites and web applications. Main features: Load testing JBlitz is fully multi-threaded and has been designed from the ground up to effectively bombard your target website or web application with simultaneous requests from multiple virtual users. What's more, you can configure as many virtual users as you can handle without paying any extra license costs! Hence different load schedules can be easily configured given the appropriate test machine hardware. Functional testing (Pro only) Each function of your website or web application can be tested apart or together with multiple simultaneous HTTP requests. Every response can be validated using advanced text search features including regular expression support, or by calling out to your own Java code. Extensible and customizable A detailed Java API is available for customizing each HTTP GET or POST request. Responses are made available to your own Java code allowing for custom response checking, notifications, alerts and third party software integration. Powerful and flexible dynamic substitutions These allow automatic packaging of arbitrary dynamically generated test data into either any part of the URL (including the query string for GET requests), the request headers, or the POST data (for POST requests). Integrated HTTP debugger JBlitz 5.1 ships with an inbuilt HTTP debugger that lets you get under the hood of the HTTP request/response cycle. Step through downloads and inspect and modify request and response messages as they occur. HTTPS support Support for requesting secure web pages using the SSL 3.0 protocol. Virtual user activity display and control The progress of each and every virtual user can be tracked and controlled as it makes its requests and downloads its responses. State maintenance (Pro only) Support for state maintenance via cookies (ASP, JSP session support) and via state embedded in each reply page. Extensible error detection Detect errors based on the HTTP response code or by looking for error or success text within each response page or its headers. Support for plain text or regular expression searches. More detailed checking can be accomplished using the customization API. Detailed request logging and error reporting Includes a 'request log' that records each request and its associated reply, an 'error inspector' that pinpoints and summarizes every error that has occurred. Options available for logging messages to a file or the standard output device. Clear and concise graphs Fully filterable and with side-by-side comparisons. Includes graphs of hits, errors, transactions (Pro only), download rate, connection time, response time and responsiveness. Statistical analysis Available on a global, per test case and per page level. Java powered, cross platform Leverages the Java platform to provide true testing portability.
