JBHEAD Description

The JBHEAD application was designed to be a little freeware utility to monitor log files. It displays the n first lines of a file. It works just like the UNIX tail program, but then in a windows DOS box. Usage: head file Options: -n x : Displays the last x lines of the file (default=10) -s x : Skips the first x lines Example: head -n 100 file.txt -> Displays the first 100 lines of file.txt head -s 20 -n 30 file.txt -> Displays lines 20 to 50 of file.txt
