InterLoc Description

InterLoc is an application that allows you to navigate from the main window to the product website and join other users online in playing digital dialog games for learning. It incorporates an environment which supports a multi-phased activity (e.g. preparation, interaction and summary) and the use of particular dialog games (e.g. critical discussion and reasoning, exploratory dialogue and creative thinking) that foster 'academic' discourse and thinking. The approach is particularly suited to groups of 4-8 students. The activities and dialogue games can be reused or adapted to address particular educational problems and contexts. The tool is highly flexible, and can support a range of pedagogical approaches, from informal student-centered learning activities to more formal course related exercises. NOTE: To use InterLoc you will need to join the InterLoc community. This is simply done by contacting an existing member and asking them to sign you up.
