ImageIndexer Description

Advertisement ImageIndexer is a Photo & Image software developed by Evan P. Hall. After our trial and test, the software is proved to be official, secure and free. Here is the official description for ImageIndexer: ImageIndexer is a small utility that can generate thumbnail previews of images suitable for viewing on the World Wide Web. ImageIndexer creates thumbnails it saves as small JPEG images that are approximately 80x80 Pixels. You can generate thumbnails for single images, or an entire directory of images. When thumbnailing entire directories, you may also have ImageIndexer generate an HTML index PaGE that contains the previews linked to the original, hi-res images. You can customize many aspects of the HTML indexes and also the quality of the thumbnails. The following is a list of features I am considering adding to future versions of this utility. * Multiple file selection dialog to allow the user to select multiple files to index from within the application * Ability to change the creator of the HTML index page to something other than Netscape or IE * Toggle to force file names to be all lowercase * Option to have full size images appear in popup windows instead of traditional links To create a thumbnail of a single image, simply drag the image onto the ImageIndexer icon in the finder, or choose "Create Thumbnail" from the "File" menu inside ImageIndexer to select a file. ImageIndexer will create a file in the same directory as the original image. It will have the same name as the original image but end with "-thumb.jpg". All previews are saved in the JPEG format. To create thumbnails and an HTML index for an entire directory of images, just drag the folder on to the ImageIndexer icon in the finder, or choose "Index Folder" from the "File" menu inside ImageIndexer. Thumbnails will be generated and saved alongside the original images in the directory. An HTML page called "index.html" will be created to display the thumbnails. You can customize the look and name of this web page by changing the settings in the preferences dialog box.
