Image Size Description

Image Size is a lightweight and simple-to-use program that allows you to view an image file and find out the size it occupies on the disk. It can be used even by inexperienced individuals. The tool supports several file types, namely BMP, GIF, JPG, ICO and WMF. The interface of the application is based on a standard window and intuitive layout; you can import an image with the help of the file browser, since the 'drag and drop' function is not required. Image Size allows you to view the size of the current picture in the status bar, along with its location. By accessing the 'About' section from the 'Help' menu, you can visit the developer's website. The simplistic piece of software puts little strain on the computer, since it runs on a very low amount of CPU and system memory. It has a good response time. We have not come across any difficulties in our tests; Image Size did not freeze, crash or pop up error dialogs. On the downside, Image Size comes with limited features. For example, you cannot navigate through the pictures in the current folder or change their size. Also, the interface needs some major improvements.
