ImTOO DVD Ripper is a simple-to-use program which allows you to convert DVDs to other media formats, including AVI, MP3, ASF, MOV, MP4 and FLV. The software includes a user-friendly interface in which you can load a DVD, ISO or IFO file via the file browser or "drag and drop" method. Batch conversions are permitted. In the list you can check out the name, duration, number of chapters, output profile and size, as well as status of each file. So, after you establish the destination folder, name and extension, you can initiate the encoding process. But you can also modify audio and video parameters concerning the size, quality, codec, bit rate, frame rate, aspect ratio, zoom, encode mode, volume, channels and others. Furthermore, you can preview the clip and cut it by marking the start and end time, take snapshots, disable audio, select individual chapters from the DVD, hide unidentifiable items, view file properties and set the CPU priority by specifying the number of cores in use. On top of that, you can check out a log window, set post-task actions (e.g. hibernate or shut down computer), enable ImTOO DVD Ripper to run in the background, change the interface language and skin, and more. The DVD ripper consumes a very high amount of system resources, includes a brief help file and manages to keep a very good image and sound quality in the output videos.
