Iconize Description

Iconize is a small Windows app that can easily minimize any running program to the Tray. As compared to other similar programs in the same software category, Iconize doesn't place a new button in the titlebar of the running apps, but instead it does everything via its Tray icon. Right-clicking this icon shows you a list of the running apps and lets you choose the one you wish to minimize to Tray. In case you quit Iconize, don't worry because all previous states are automatically restored. If you wish to simply minimize all windows it's enough to double-click the Tray icon or use the dedicated “Minimize All” option available via a right-click. The same applies to windows restoring, which is pretty useful whenever you want to quickly restore all programs. There are no configuration options and Iconize quietly stays in the Tray, with just a low footprint on system performance. It runs smoothly on all Windows versions and doesn't ask for administrator privileges. On Windows 7 it even gives you the option to minimize the active widgets to Tray. To sum up, Iconize is a handy product, although we all agree that feature updates are still needed. For example, hotkey support to quickly minimize a window to Tray could really come in handy.
