IBLMPump Description

IBLMPump is a useful command-line utility that can pump/transfer logged data from the production database into an external "transaction log" database using the two phase commit (2PC) protocol.By using IBLMPump regularly, you keep your production database tight (logged data will not "pollute" your production database) and in case of a crash of your production database, logged data will not be lost. To regularly pump logged data you can either schedule the pump process by using any task scheduling facility like 'AT' under Windows NT/2000/XP or by using the background pumping option (timer or InterBase/Firebird event based) of IBLMPump.
