Hpaftpw Description

Hpaftpw is the Windows version of hpaftpd (single-threaded ftp-daemon for Unix). It is designed to run without threads and with low memory usage, so it's suitable for heavy network traffic with very many connections. It work fine with different GUI-based ftp-clients (FAR FTP-client, Total Commander, IExplorer, Konqueror(KDE browser), Opera etc). The single-threaded philosophy makes it work faster than most other FTP daemons and makes it very light on memory. Standard FTP servers create a thread for each new incoming connection, and then one or more child threads for each directory listing that connection requests. Hpaftpw does not need to create any additional threads after initialization.And so you can service more remote users at a time.Limitations:· 30 days free trial
