Hidden File Manager Description

Hidden File Manager is an application that allows users to quickly hide files stored on the local drives. Although the same thing can be done using the built-in Windows utilities, Hidden File Manager is an app developed to make the whole process a lot faster, offering a quick way to hide a file. The program’s GUI plays the most important role because it’s the one that lets users select the items to be hidden, while also showing the currently selected files. The integrated drag and drop support is the only way to hide new files because the app provides no other dedicated tool in this regard. Which is quite a bit of a problem on Windows 7 workstations, as drag and drop support didn’t work during our test. The main window is also the one that shows the status, the name and the root folder of each item, while also allowing users to quickly unhide either one or multiple items. The impact on the overall system stability is just minimal and Hidden File Manager requires nothing more than basic computer knowledge. To sum up, Hidden File Manager is a handy product only if you use the file hiding attribute on a regular basis. Hidden File Manager is not a file encryption tool and it shouldn’t be used like one, as a single Windows setting could expose all your hidden files.
