HcryptoJ Description

HcryptoJ is a Java library designed to enable developers implement and analyze historical ciphers. This component is designed to support research and teaching in historical cryptography and computer science. It is suitable for use by novice and intermediate level Java programmers as well as by nonprogrammers and has been used in a variety of undergraduate research and teaching projects. HcryptoJ is general enough to implement any symmetric key cipher system that translates plaintext strings into ciphertext strings and vice versa.
