Gwem Description

The Gwem application was designed to be a weather alert program for your desktop. Main features: Tells the Current Weather Conditions Temperature What the weather is like. Weather icon of the current weather conditions. Humidity Wind speed and direction Moon Phase Tells the forecast for the next two days or if there is a watch or warning, tells what it is. Forecast Gives the forecast for the next two days. Gives the date Gives the icon representing the weather conditions of that day. Gives the high and low temperatures. Watches and Warnings The background changes to yellow if there is a watch, and red if there is a warning. An alert sound plays when there is a warning. The program updates every 30 minutes if there is no watch and no warning, 20 minutes if there is a watch, and 10 minutes if there is a warning. Support for both English and Metric systems. Works for international locations. The system tray corresponds to the current weather status (green-no watches or warnings, yellow-watch, red-warning) and gives the current conditions when the mouse is hovered over the icon.
