GvpGet Description

GvpGet is a small application which will enable you to easily download Google videos (.gvp). But why would anyone need a video downloader? GVP files are not ordinary video files, but are files containing links to such videos. Ordinarily you need an Internet connection as well as Google's own video player to view such GVP videos. But downloading the video and watching it using your favourite video player is possible too! GvpGet extracts the download link from Google GVP videos and copies that link to the clipboard. Then you can paste the link in the address bar of Internet Explorer or use the link with a download manager. Downloading a Google video is simple: · Find the video you want to download at http://video.google.com/ · Click on the "Download" button next to the video and then "Manually download the video" · After downloading the GVP file, drag and drop it onto "GvpGet.exe" OR open GvpGet and drag and drop the file onto the black drop zone. · Now a direct download link will be extracted and placed in your Windows clipboard. · Use the "paste" function of your favourite downloader, to download the Google video.
