Got Your Back (GYB) is a tool for backing up your Gmail messages to your local computer. It uses the standard IMAP protocol but also takes advantage of some custom Gmail IMAP extensions. Use the GUI or the Command Line interfaces of the application to start backing up your Gmail messages immediately, restore them or just perform an estimate.
