Glass Orb Clock Description
Glass Orb Clock is a simple gadget for your desktop that shows an analog clock in a stylish manner, namely through a glass orb, as the name says. It comprises twelve skins. The frame can be set to stay on top of other windows. You may also change the opacity level to a preset value, ranging between 20% and 100%. These options come in handy where you're working in other applications, since Glass Orb Clock is not intrusive. By default, the gadget's time is synchronized with the local system time, but you can select another time zone from the Options panel, as well as access the date and time properties area to make any necessary adjustments. In addition, you can switch through twelve skins to pick the one you like best, as well as enter text to be shown in the center of the glass orb; it could be either a clock name or a small reminder. As we expected, the gadget is very light on the system resources, running on a minimal quantity of CPU and RAM. It has a good response time and works smoothly, without making the OS hang, crash or show error notifications. All in all, Glass Orb Clock can be tried out by all users who are looking for an alternative method to get the current time. Reviewed by Elena Opris, last updated on August 3rd, 2013
