Giftab Description

The first version of the program I have ever designed in 1996 as a program for MS DOS. Now is Giftab clear console program in Windows. The name of the program was then derived from its function. The program created a HTML table (Table) with "thumbnail" images (GIF) By clicking on "thumbnail" Giftab show full size image. Latest version now supports only the .jpg images. The program has no graphical frontend, an icon or menu. Enter your photos in .jpg format into one directory wherw is program Giftab.exe. When you click Giftab.exe this passes the current directory and creates a file there index.html with references to all .jpg files in the current directory. Pictures must be modified, the original size from camera is for the Internet too big. All this is described in the operating manual. Examples generated pages can be found on the homepage of the program. The new version is adapted to the projection of images with beamer or on the big TV receiver.
