GCalculator Description
GCalculator is a tiny widget that displays a virtual calculator directly on your desktop. It does not integrate complex mathematical functions, but allows you to perform simple calculations rapidly. It is easy to install and set up. The interface of the app is represented by a rectangular-shaped frame with a blue background, whose position on the screen can be altered if you use the mouse cursor. Besides multiplications, subtractions, additions and divisions, you may also use a Backspace button (Back) and Clear Everything (CE). Unfortunately, GCalculator does not come packed with any configuration settings. However, you can make the frame stay on top of other windows, and adjust its opacity level between 20% and 100%, with the courtesy of the operating system's default features. GCalculator does not interfere with the runtime of other currently active processes, since it runs on a very low quantity of CPU and system memory. It is very responsive to key strokes and mouse commands. We have not encountered any problems in our testing, since GCalculator did not hang or crash. Thanks to its intuitive layout and overall simplicity, GCalculator can be used even by individuals with less or no experience in software programs.
