When you click on the rec button, the program displays a transparent square that you can place in the region, you need to record. If that little square is too small for what you want to record, don't worry, because you can go to the advanced options and adjust the width and height of your target. When you click on the stop button, the program pops up a new window, so that you can save the recorded file to a predefined folder on your computer.
