Beside CD ripping, Free MP3 CD Ripper also enables you to convert between various audio file extensions. WAV documents can be converted to all the supported formats, including MP3, FLAC and APE, while MP3s can only be exported as WAV or WMA files. You can get around this limitation by first converting the MP3s to WAVs, although the process takes twice as much in these conditions.
