It is capable of detecting and ripping any stream video playing in your system, and it is capable also of downloading any FLV or SWF file that you can identify with a URL address. You may combine both ripping methods and let the program manage the various downloads for you. The program’s main interface is merely a big empty space where you can list all the video files you wish to download. In some cases, you may be interested only in the soundtrack of the video – Flv Ripper will let you select MP3 or M4A as the preferred output format and it will extract the audio stream for you. This will also allow you to download audio-only files, such as stream radio shows. Flv Ripper can create an exact copy of any video playing in your Internet browser. If you happen to want to rip more videos in the meantime, you can add as many URLs as you wish to the “ripping list”, and the program will go and grab them for you from the corresponding web site. This useful little tool supports not only FLV files, but also SWF, F4V and M4V video files.
