FlaskMpegResizing Description

What you have to do is to type in the Width and Height of a croped picture (picture without black bars at the top and bottom. You have to crop it using Top Offset and Height in the Output Pab of the Flask Mpeg program). Well, read the manual of FlaskMpeg. When only the picture is seen (no black bars) you type in the numbers (into my proggy) which are written in the upper left part of FlaskMpeg Output Pab. First one is Width and the second one is Height. As you already found out you can resize picture only by 16 pixels and if you want to keep aspect ratio (so that the picture doesn't look stretched) you have to try out different settings and calculate aspect ratio all the way. What the FlaskMpegResizing application does is to calculate the aspect ratios of resized pictures with 16 decrement to a little less than half of the picture. If you resize it more than half you loose a lot of picture information (the fullscreen version of ripped movie will look blury).
