Files Info Generator Description

The Files Info Generator application was developed to be a simple to use command line tool to generate a text files containing detailed information on the files inside a folder. It can be executed on all the files inside a folder, for a group of files based on wildcards or for a specific file. Syntax: CFI All parameters are mandatory, the source folder and the output folders must exist, you must enter the mask or a specific file name. Example: CFI c:\test.exe c:\logs\filesinfo.txt This example will create the file c:\logs\filesinfo.txt The file will contain information on all the exe files inside the c:\test The generator will provide the next information (if exists) for each file: - File name - Description - Size - Company name - File version - Product name - Product version - Internal name - Legal copyright - Legal trademarks - Original file name - Comments - CRC - MD5 - Attributes - Date created - Last accessed - Last modified Files Info Generator can be also used to export these details for a specific file: CFI c:\test MyFile.any c:\logs\fileinfo.txt If there is a space in the files path or file name, then you should put the path (or filename) inside a double quotes.
