FilenameFilters Description

FilenameFilters is a Java class that offers a series of commands within another Java program to run different file name searches. The class is quite flexible. It can list directories based on a number of set criteria. Basic wild card searches are also supported so files can be found where only some of the file name information is known. Searches can specific what should and should not be included in the results. Searches can find files that start or end with certain entries. Regular expression searches are also supported which are perhaps the most powerful and exacting.
