File Scanner Description

This tool basically gets the logical drives on your system then offers you the option to search specific file types or the entire drive with real time file scan updates and then returns the respective files found/location to you. Now I coded this in VC++ primaraly as practice for a more in-depth tool I am doing but still has it's uses in it's current state. Note: sometimes if you scan a specific folder/file which you don't have rights to (it'll tell you via exception handling in results) will obviously skip that file/dir, but strangely even if you run as admin some files persist so it's something I need to look into, but it's not a problem with my application it just needs some coding relevant to privelages/access rights appending to it which I will, but from what I've found it's no easy feat, either way it works fine and does the job just with restricted rights. Note, as it's done in VC++ you need .NET 3.5 or above installed (source not included).
