File Alias Description

File Alias utility changes names of files in a selected directory. File Alias allows to change either all file types or just a certain type designated by its extension. The choice is made according to the Select Option. The renamed files are placed to another directory if the "Copy To Another Folder" Save Option is set. Otherwise the renamed files replace their originals. New file names consist of the provided name and an increasing index, starting from 1 by default. The initial index can be easily set in the range from 1 to 999. The "Expel From the List" button enables removing files from the rename list.
