Faronics Power Save Description

Power Save uses intelligent energy management to ensure workstations are available when system resources are required, but conserving power during productivity downtimes. Faronics Power Save provides system administrators with easy-to-use and very useful power management functions. Power Save provides organizations with real financial and energy savings on every computer deployed, as well as centralized workstation power status control. Plus, Power Save is environmentally responsible and offers a complete return on investment within the first year of deployment. Since Power Save is an energy - saving technology, it can qualify for rebates from your local utility or government. Advanced features include real-time savings reports, policy scheduling, and customizable activity settings based on CPU, disk, and application activity. Faronics Core Console supports the monitoring and management of multiple workstations from a central location. Faronics Core Console displays the current status of managed workstations and allows commands to apply to one or more of those workstations. Advanced features include the ability to shutdown or restart computers, and centralized control over workstation protection settings. Note Faronics Power Save requires Faronics Core Console. The included Faronics Power Save installer does not install Faronics Power Save itself onto a workstation; it installs the Power Save product Loadin into Faronics Core Console.
