FaceShop Pro Description

FaceShop Pro is an application which allows you to create 3D objects of faces from any image in the JPG format. The program has a plain and simple interface, so navigating through it should be very easy for any users. Once you initialize FaceShop Pro, you can paste an image from the clipboard, open one from the hard drive by using the file browser, or capture it from the scanner. So, you can rotate and mirror the picture, view its notes, select a head object between a man and woman (or you can load a custom one), as well as specify the resolution. In the next step, you have to be very accurate with the mouse cursor, since you need to assign correspondent points as seen in the sample picture. These points focus on the top of the forehead, nose, mouth, chin, ears and eyes. You can convert the image to a sketch to better observe the face features or save the project for further editing. In the last step, you have to draw curves for the eyebrows, eyes, mouth, as well as the contour of the face. Once you have made some final adjustments, you can create the new 3D object and save it in the OBJ format. The program takes up a high amount of system resources (which is normal) and includes a complete user documentation with snapshots. No errors have popped up during our tests and FaceShop Pro delivers excellent results. Too bad it doesn't offer more options when it comes to image editing.
