Kymera was designed to be a third-party content packaging format coded in C#. It was designed for developers who need a custom distribution format for various media, but who don't want to get bogged down with maintaining the underlying storage format. Main features: Xml-based storage format True random access to resource content. Distribution format supports both uncompressed xml and compressed volume files. Encapsulation info that identifies the volume as your custom distribution format. Use your own file extensions. Optional compression, encryption for a volume. Custom metadata for content files. Roles-based access to resources that allow multiple resources to be accessed by a single password. Unlocking of additional content by password. File dependecies support for resources. Delete one and all members of the dependency group are deleted. Easy to use writer and managerclasses for creating and opening volumes.
